Paul Harrington-Whitnall 20th March 2023

For the first Mother's Day without you here. We hope you liked the flowers and cards, Ann. I also want to mention how well the forget-me-nots are doing. Despite the awful weather, they are coming on nicely and we can't wait to see them in bloom - hopefully soon. The camelia bloomed early but the bids were destroyed by the cold weather, so we're hoping that it blooms again this year. There were SO MANY buds, it would have been amazing. The magnolia has lots of buds, too, and hopefully that will be full of blossom soon. I'm guessing it was you opening and closing the door of the lounge this morning. There wasn't another explanation! Katie is having a boy in July, so that will be our third grandchild. Ask the angels to watch over him and Katie and Mum, too. Yesterday was so difficult. Not only celebrating your first mother's day up there with all your friends and family and all those who've passed, but Mum had a stroke and we had to celebrate Mother's Day with her in hospital. Sending lots of prayers that she'll be out very soon, but we are taking one day at a time. Lots of love. Keep watching over us all. God bless.
